A paid order mints an Ed25519-signed license for each node and a registry pull token scoped to the images in your compose. The images stay private; the license is the credential.
Licenses are verified locally on the appliance — no call home to boot. A lapsed subscription stops new pack downloads and optional features after a 30-day grace period; a platform outage never bricks a node.
For disconnected sites the license is baked into the ISO at build time or injected after first boot; signature verification is entirely local.
